So what do the watchmaker, writer and warrior have in common ? The same destination that none of them know about : the City that didn’t tick. At first, each one, prompted by his own experience, makes his way to the legendary city until the day they meet to pursue their plans together. The city is a prosperous kingdom governed by the very wise White King.

But his destiny is soon thwarted and takes a different turn. What disaster provoked the immeasurable suffering of the king and the anguish of his subjects ?
